Mrs. Phen Vandy, aged 52, raises pigs and sells the piglets in the market. Her husband works as a horse-cart driver, transporting passengers and cargo around the neighborhood, earning around $4.20 per day. They have one child who helps his mother raise pigs.

Phen Vandy took out a loan of US$1200 on Oct 2007 to purchase a generator to have a business charging batteries. People living in the remote area they mostly depend on the batteries to power their lighting, television and radio. She has been very pleased with the results and can see her business growing forward. She can earn around US$4 in revenue each day from charging batteries. She is very happy with the loan and would like to say thanks to all lenders who help her business. She has no problems paying loan back to Credit MFI.

Again, she states that the loan is very useful as it is provide a chance to all poor entrepreneurs to start and sustain their businesses. Finally, she would like to say thanks to all lenders for interest helping Cambodian entrepreneurs like her family.
