Joel Ibarra

Joel Ibarra is 26 years old and lives with his father and child in the town of Carapeguá. Joel lost his mother early in life and thanks to the example of his hardworking father, has been able to continue moving forward and providing for the family. As both a student and a worker,Joel sacrifices a lot in order to achieve economic self-sufficiency.

Joel is well known in the area. He began working by establishing an office supply store, which he runs out of his house. Unfortunately, this business did not turn out as well as initially expected and he decided to change. He then began selling local crafts from a mobile stand. He has been doing this for the past three years.

Joel has requested a loan to buy bedding and clothing that he can sell from his stand. In this way he will be able to increase the variety and quantity of goods he sells and continue to grow as a micro-entrepreneur.
