Juan is 51 years old, married, and has 4 children. He is the owner of a store located in his home. In addition to the store he owns a cow, from which he sells the milk and makes cheese to sell in his store.

Today his business has good sales, with the loan he received from the Fundación Paraguay he was able to buy more merchandise to sell and rotate daily such as milk, sugar, oil, starch, tea, etc.

Juan states that the draught has impacted his country negatively, especially with the production of livestock, as the price of feed for the livestock rose and of course this resulted in the increase in the prices of milk, cheese, and beef.

The current loan from the Fundación Paraguaya is to purchase more milk cows and therefore increase the number of beef that he owns, in order to produce more milk and cheese to then supply to various homes and businesses.
