Business is Growing

Entrepreneur: Sarita Maharjan
Location: Bholdhoka, Nepal

Today Ms. Maharjan made another repayment on her Kiva loan. With the funds provided by Kiva's lender's, she has purchased additional stock for her small grocery store. She plans to use the additional profits generated by this new stock to again reinvest in her growing enterprise.

As food and fuel prices in throughout Nepal continue to rise, both she and her husband have felt the effects on their businesses. Despite these obstacles, she continues to repay her loan with great reliability.

She, like most of the borrowers in her group, hopes to use this loan to build her credit history and then apply for a larger loan that will go even further in expanding her store.
