Ceferov Cahangir was born in the Gubadli region, situated in the West of Azarbaijan. He is 54 years old and the father of five children. Right now he lives with his family in Sumgayit city, situated in the east of Azerbaijan. He is homeless and staying in a worker’s hostel in Sumgayit city. Cahangir opened his business 1998. He started selling a variety of vegetables in front of his hostel. With this small business and only $200 in working capital, he could hardly earn enough money to meet family’s food and important consumption needs. In 2004 Cahangir borrowed $300 from Normicro, expanded his business and bought necessary fruits. Next time he borrowed $600 and increased his business. Now, he wants to borrow an $800 loan to open a larger vegetable section of his business and he hopes to further improve the living conditions of his family.
