My name is Zubaida Bibi. I live in Lahore, a big city in Pakistan, with my husband and four children. All my children attend school except the eldest daughter who makes jewelry tassels with me. My husband operates a ready-made garments business. He buys the cloth used in making these garments from a famous and biggest cloth market in Lahore and stitches them into various beautiful and trendy outfits. He then supplies the finished garments to different shops in nearby markets.

My husband now wants to operate at a bit bigger scale but does not have the necessary capital. If he is able to get the required funds, he will buy cloth in bulk and hire a few workers to help him so that he can get big orders. This expansion will double our income. Please lend us US$ 550.

Women can utilize their loan in the business of their family members such as (husband, father, son and other relations). I am very pleased to get the loan from you all. Your loan helped me in eastablish my husband's ready made garments business. My husband purchased the clothes in bulk and hired two workers on monthly wage. He able to complete the order of his customers on time. As a result his monthly profit rose to 10,000 PKRs. After paying the wages he gets 6,000 PKRs in balance. With the additional profit we able to cover the household expenses and to pay the school fees of our kids. I am very grateful to all of you for your help and support.
