Lamosa Tauanuu is a mother of seven kids. She is 54 years-old but still young at heart. All of her children have graduated, and four of them have jobs. The other three are helping out with their plantation business. They work from Monday to Thursday on maintaining the plantation and preventing theft. On Fridays and Saturdays, they take the taro crop to the market to sell it. Lamosa earns more than $200 a week, which covers her weekly loan payments as well as her family’s weekly needs. Lamosa really appreciates the help of S.P.B.D. for lending her the money to make her business possible.
