Yagub lives with his parents. They are very old. He is the only breadwinner in his family.
He started his business in 1998. He began his business with $300. He started selling a small variety of shoes. With this small business and only $300 in working capital, he could hardly earn enough money to meet his family's food and important consumption needs. He had difficulty in covering other family consumption needs for medication, clothes, etc.
In 2004, Yagub borrowed $400 from Normicro, expanded his business and increased the selection of shoes. Now, he needs a $800 loan in order to further develop his business, to buy other shoes and goods to increase his business and to improve his family’s living conditions with this additional income.
