Suong Ey

Thank you for your loan. It has been disbursed to Suong Ey by CREDIT MFI -- World Relief in Cambodia. We are excited to watch this business grow. Over the next 18 - 24 months, CREDIT MFI -- World Relief will be collecting repayments from this entrepreneur and posting progress updates on the Kiva website.

Suong Ey took out a loan of US$1200 to purchase additional tools to help produce the sugar, but she changed her mind when she received the money. Instead, she decided that it would be more profitable for her to purchase a motorbike for her husband to operate a motor-taxi business and the leftover is used to renovate their house. She has been pleased with the results of her investments and can see her business growing. With her increased profits, she has been able to purchase yam seed, fertilizer and insecticide to help her farm. She has been very pleased with her decision and is grateful for the ability to better support her family.

Again, she states that the loan is very useful as it is provide a chance to all poor entrepreneurs to start and sustain their businesses. Finally, she would like to say thanks to all lenders for interest helping Cambodian entrepreneurs like her family.
