Vay Sou took out a loan of US$600 to purchase more pigs and feed for her animals. She has been pleased with how her purchases have helped her business and has even seen her income grow already. She has seen her income per day grow from US$3 to US$6 and she has been able to purchase more food for her family and expand her business. Although her business has faced some difficult times, with the pigs becoming ill, she is optimistic about the future. There are a number of factors working against a small business owner in Cambodia and the high inflation seems to be affecting the entire population, but Vay Sou is doing well and seeing her business grow.

Vay Sou first heard about CREDIT through her village chief and was attracted to the low interest rate and financial services. She had taken out loans from private lenders before, but she has been very pleased with CREDIT and its friendly staff. She has been prompt in her monthly repayments and wants to continue expanding her business in the future.

Thank you so much for your kindness and generosity towards Vay Sou and her family. CREDIT has greatly appreciated partnering with you and looks forward to building on this relationship in the future as we continue to provide quality financial services to Cambodia's poor entrepreneurs.

I recently visited Vay Sou to see how the loan impact on her family. We found out that some of the pigs are ill and died. Vay currently has a new business selling rice noodle. But this business still make less profit. People are affected by global economic. They make less money and some are unemployed. In the future, Vay plans to raise pigs and chicken.
