Dear Lenders,

I apologize for the delay in updating you on the progress of my family business. With the loan that you provided me, my husband and I purchased a freezer, utensils and dishes for our hotel restaurant. These items have allowed us to sell ice cream, a popular item in the summer months, in addition to our other food and drink items (such as tea, cookies, roti bread, etc.).

With the increase in profit since I took out this loan, we have been saving for our children’s education. We also purchased items to enhance our household, such as a TV. We use the freezer to not only keep food fresh for our customers but also to store our family’s food and ensure it stays safe to eat, particularly in the hot summer season.

This is my second loan with Asasah (microfinance institution in Pakistan). I have a good record of paying my loan installments on time. After I finish repaying this loan, I hope to take another loan with Asasah to further expand our hotel restaurant.
