Phuong Sophat

Thank you for your loan. It has been disbursed to Phuong Sophat by CREDIT MFI -- World Relief in Cambodia. We are excited to watch this business grow. Over the next 12 - 18 months, CREDIT MFI -- World Relief will be collecting repayments from this entrepreneur and posting progress updates on the Kiva website.

Phuong Sophat took out a loan of US$500 to purchase pigs to raise and diversify her family's sources of income. She has been pleased with the results of her investments so far and can see her small pig business continuing to grow. She has been able to purchase pigs for her business as she planned and has also been able to invest in some groceries for her child's store. Now, Phuong Sophat typically makes US$12 each day and is very pleased with her increased income. With her increased profits, she has been able to purchase more pig feed and also invest in the grocery store.

Phuong Sophat first heard about CREDIT through a promotion event in her village and has been very pleased with the quality financial services and friendly staff that CREDIT offers. She had never taken out a loan before, but has been very pleased with the assistance and low interest rate that she has received from CREDIT. She has faced very few difficulties in running her business and has been prompt in her loan repayments.

She would like to see her business expanded and her income continue to increase in the future, but as for now, she doesn't have any plans to take out another loan. After this loan is fully repaid, she will reevaluate her business and determine what her next step should be. She looks forward to the opportunities provided by this loan and has been very pleased with the results so far.
