Journal Update

Entrepreneur: Rren Nut
Location: Siem Reap Province, Cambodia

Rren Nut took out a loan of US$600 to purchase a motorbike for her commute to work. She has been displeased with the family's expenses on public transportation and prefers to save money through this purchase. She has been happy with the return on her investment so far and looks forward to what it can continue to do for her family.

Rren Nut had never taken out a loan prior to borrowing from CREDIT, however it was a promotion in her village that attracted her to the possibilities of a loan for her family. She has been happy with her decision and has greatly appreciated the low interest rate and long loan term that CREDIT offers its clients. She has had a few difficulties in repaying her loan, however it is almost fully repaid and she is thinking about the future. Someday she would like to open up a souvenir stand in front of Angkor Wat, which is located in Siem Reap. She feels that this may be a good investment and will consider a loan in the future.

Thank you so much for your kindness and generosity towards Rren Nut and her family. CREDIT has greatly appreciated partnering with you and looks forward to building on this relationship in the future to continue to provide quality financial services to Cambodia's poor entrepreneurs.
