Khuon Sinim

Khuon Sinim, 53, lives with her husband and five children in Kampong Cham, Cambodia. Khuon sells prepared food, and her husband sells sugar cane juice. Khuon requested this loan so she could expand the selection at her restaurant.

A CREDIT MFI loan officer recently visited Khuon to check on her progress. After receiving her loan, Khuon bought more ingredients and increased the types of food she offers at her store. She also spent some of the loan to pay for her son's school fees. She said that her overall income has increased, and she has been able to successfully reinvest in her business.

In the future, Khuon plans to take out another loan to further expand her business. She wants to make sure that her children can finish school so they can get a good job.

When asked, Khuon said she was thankful to CREDIT for its good service, and to Kiva lenders for supporting her loan.
