Sovann Cheab

Cheab Sovann is married and resides with her husband and four of her children in the Kampong Cham province, Cambodia. Two of her children are students and two others are too young to attend the school. Currently, Cheab is growing rice to earn a living, while her husband is a motor-taxi driver. Cheab Sovann took out a loan of $800 to purchase a motorbike and a cart for her husband to operate a motor-taxi. She has been very pleased with the results of her investment and can see her husband’s business growing forward. The motor-taxi can generally makes $2.5 of profit a day. With this daily profit, Cheab is able to purchase cow to help with her in farming. She continues that her farming is just to support the family members. Everyday, she gives $0.10 each child to go to school. She has no problems paying a loan back to Credit.

Again, she states that the loan is very useful as it is provide a chance to all poor entrepreneurs to start and sustain their businesses. Finally, she would like to say thanks to all lenders for interest helping Cambodian entrepreneurs like her family.
