Mrs. Sophary has been in a business of selling finished silk product since 2003. In September, 2007 she asked for a loan of $1,000 to purchase finished silk product for her stock and resell in the market.

The loan can benefit her by two ways: (1) she could manage to buy silk and other material in a cheaper price and direct sell on credit to the weaver by promising to buy the finished product back, (2) she is able to buy finished silk product in a lower price because she buy in cash and most of her silk product is very good in quality.

At the end, she can find higher profit margin so that she can develop the household economic and has no difficulty to support the children to school. At the end she paid off the loan, but she still has some money left to reinvest in the business. She will ask for a loan again to expand the business.
