Rosa Gomez Lopez

Rosa is 45 years old and has 5 children. Her husband works in the countryside as a laborer. Rosa makes tamales and "atole", a traditional beverage prepared with corn and flavors. She used to sell this in the city market, going stall to stall. With the loan she hopes to be able to buy materials to prepare her food and drinks. She is part of the group Grupo Solidario 9, together with Mrs. Micaela Lopez Gomez, who makes "pozol", ( corn cooked and ground and mixed with water), and sells it in the market. Both hope to buy more cooking utensils to prepare their products in better conditions, and arrange a place in their homes to sell their products.
