Ake Petelo is a 38 year old woman with 8 children living in Lalotoa Leauvaa. She has a chips business where she sells them to the people in the village, families and friends and at school. Ake has running her chips for more than 2 years now and her husband help with the work. She makes $250tala each week and she spends $140 tala each week on supplies of her equipment and things needed. She is requesting another loan to increase the output from her chips. Hopefully she will be able to double her profits to pay for her children’s school fees and reinvest in the business.She is a good member and she pays her payments on time.
