Foketi Siosefa

Foketi is one of the young ladies that join SPBD last year. Her business is making handicrafts such as earrings for the ladies, bracelets, hair accessories and picture frames already designed with different styles. Foketi sells her products at the flea market at Fugalei, which is preferable because more income can be earned here than anywhere else. She started last year with a loan of $750 and now she is on her second loan of $1250. She sells her products throughout the week opening seven days from six o’clock in the morning to five o’clock in the evening earning $800 a day. After deducting all her expenses, she earns about four hundred to five hundred profit a day and about two thousand to two thousand and eighty tala a week. She is looking forward to supply more in the following week of the South Pacific Games.
