También vende leche de vaca y de cabra, provee a sus vecinos y a carnicerías del mercado central de la ciudad. Sus hijas se dedican a los quehaceres de la casa.
Don Felipe también trabaja por las noches como guardia de seguridad en una casa particular y de día realiza en su casa sus actividades cotidianas para poder tener suficiente ingreso para mantener la familia.
