Hay Sineat

Thank you for your loan. It has been disbursed to Hay Sineat by CREDIT MFI -- World Relief in Cambodia. We are excited to watch this business grow. Over the next 18 - 24 months, CREDIT MFI -- World Relief will be collecting repayments from this entrepreneur and posting progress updates on the Kiva website.

Hay Sineat used her CREDIT loan to purchase two pigs to be used for breeding. Both pigs however were taken by illness and died but fortunately not before one gave birth to ten piglets. She is now looking into the possibility of purchasing another pig, which in nine to ten months she should be able to breed with the mature pigs she will then have. She happily reports she should be able to earn 500 to 600 US$ through selling off her pigs once she has bred them. Her four children are all doing well. She has two older children ages 16 and 10. She also has two very young children, one of whom is just now old enough to attend school. Her husband is working hard as both a motor taxi driver and a local policeman. He earns 5 US$ per day. Hay Sineat hopes to someday soon take out another loan so she can buy more pigs to jump start this business she runs from home.
