Journal Update

Entrepreneur: Pich Sam
Location: Phnom Penh City, Cambodia

Pich Sam took out a loan of US$700 to build some more rooms to rent out and she has been pleased with the results of her investments and can see her business growing. She was not able to build new rooms for her business as she had originally planned, but she was able to use the money to repair the rooms that she already has. With her increased profits, she has been able to purchase gas and food for her family and can provide better support for her household.

Pich Sam first heard about CREDIT from her older sister and has been very pleased with the affordable low interest rate. She had never taken out a loan before, but she has been very pleased with the quality services and friendly assistance that she has received from CREDIT. She has faced very few difficulties in running her business and has had no problems with repaying her loan on time.

She would like to see her business expanded and her income continue to increase in the future, but as for now, she doesn't have any plans to take out another loan. After this loan is fully repaid, she will reevaluate her business and determine what her next step should be. She looks forward to the opportunities provided by this loan and has been very pleased.

Thank you so much for your generosity and kindness to Pich Sam and her family. CREDIT appreciates your help and looks forward to partnering with you again in the future to continue to provide quality financial services to Cambodia's poor entrepreneurs.
