Before Cynthia had her daughter, she used to work as a sales person and as a maid. However, after the birth of her daughter, she started her despensa at her house in order to stay at home and care for her child at the same time. Together with her husband, they took their first loan with Fundación Paraguaya to buy a freezer and increase their stock of merchandise. During the past year, their business has grown and opened up many more opportunities. Cynthia and her husband are seeking a loan to reinvest in their despensa and buy more merchandise in order to offer a greater selection of products.
