Mr. Ceveriano Talavera Gómez is 59 years old and married with 4 children, aged 28, 26, 24 and 8. The youngest child is currently in school while the older children are all working. One of the children is a degreed systems analyst, another is an engineer working in electronics and another works in topography. All of the children help the family with their earnings, in a lovely show of filial reciprocity.

Ceveriano works with his wife in a small stall that they opened in the Municipal Market of their city; they sell all kinds of products including lettuce, tomatoes, onions, carrots, etc. They have been in retail businesses for 20 years; 8 years ago they were able to open their own fixed stall in the market.

They have very good sales, thanks to the location of their sales stall. People come to the market every day to buy necessities while others that work in the area come to eat lunch in the market's restaurants. A few months ago they started selling "family budget baskets", which are baskets of preselected varied items sold for a affordable price.

Every morning their work day begins at 5 AM to be ready to open the sales stall at 6 AM. Ceveriano and his wife work alone, just the two of them, except on Sundays when they have an additional employee to help them sine demand is much higher on Sunday.

They need a loan to be able to stock the stall with more seasonal products, such as onions, potatoes and tomatoes, along with eggs and chickens. The sales of the family basket is a complete success and they continually see more demand for the product.
