Lung Lem

Lung Lem, 34, is married with three school-aged children. She resides in Siem Reap Province, Cambodia with her husband (pictured) and children. To make a living, she is engaged in a business of selling porridge at a nearby local market in the town, earning approximately US $1.66 per day. The family is also assisted mainly by her husband who is currently involved in a business of repairing electronic appliances such as televisions and radios. He is able to earn an income of US $2.83 per day as a primary source of income for his family and to support the three children’s studies.

Mrs. Lem and her husband are seeking to improve their standard of living and to generate a better income. Therefore, Lem is asking for a loan of US $800 to purchase spare parts for televisions and other electronic devices to expand her husband’s business.
