Esperanza Group

Esperanza (“Hope”) is the name of a group that belongs to Juan Pablo II Center. There are 17 members. The board of directors is made up of Ana María Jimenez, president; Lidia Alvarez, Treasurer; and Manuela Casas, Secretary.

Three group members sell beauty products in various markets, four sell CDs and DVDs, five sell clothing (pants, sweaters, etc.), one makes suits, one sews blankets, one sells cakes, one sells office supplies, and one sells food.

The group is seeking a loan that will be used to purchase merchandise and raw materials for all these various businesses.

Esperanza es el nombre de un grupo que pertenece al Centro Focal Juan Pablo II, con 17 integrantes, su mesa directiva esta conformada por Ana María Jimenez como la presidenta, Lidia Alvarez ocupa la cartera de Tesorera y Manuela Casas es la Secretaria de Actas. Del total de sus integrantes tres de ellas venden productos de belleza en diferentes ferias, cuatro venden CDs y DVDs, cinco se dedican a la venta de ropa (pantalones, chompas y otros) uno confecciona trajes, otra teje mantas, una vende masitas, otra vende material de escritorio y una vende comida.

Ellas necesitan el préstamo para comprar mercadería y materia prima, según el negocio que tengan.
