JANETH ERLINDA CHAVEZ CORTEGANA , 41, lives in the Las Delicias district, Trujillo province, La Libertad department, Perú. She is a member of the SIEMPRE UNIDAS (ALWAYS UNITED) communal bank. She studied to be a technical nurse but was unable to work in her profession because during her last school term her mother became gravely ill and subsequently passed away precluding her finishing her studies and graduating. Economic necessity pushed her into clothing sales. She has three young school-age daughters who depend upon her economically. For this reason, she, together with her husband, sells gas and chickens in the local market near her home. With her first 300 sol loan she bought gas at wholesale to begin her sales. With this 300 new sol loan she will buy chickens to sell in the market thereby earning profits sufficient to cover her daughters' needs. Janeth dreams with increasing her sales enough to have her own grocery store to earn still better profits.

La señora JANETH ERLINDA CHAVEZ CORTEGANA , tiene 41 años, vive en el distrito de Las Delicias, provincia de Trujillo, departamento La Libertad – Perú. La socia pertenece al Banco Comunal SIEMPRE UNIDAS. Ella presenta estudios superiores de enfermería técnica, pero no pudo ejercer porque al finalizar su ultimo ciclo su madre se enfermo gravemente y después falleció y no pudo obtener su titulo por motivos económicos ella empezó a trabajar como vendedora de ropa. Ella tiene 3 hijas pequeñas en edad escolar quienes dependen económicamente de ella por ese motivo ella se dedica a la venta de pollo y gas en el mercado cercano a su casa en compañía de su esposo.
Con su primer crédito de 300.00 nuevos soles compro gas al por mayor para empezar a vender.
Con este crédito de 300.00 nuevos soles comprará pollos para vender en el mercado y así obtener dinero para cubrir las necesidades de sus hijas.
Janeth sueña con aumentar sus vetas y poder llegar a tener su tienda de productos alimenticios para así poder obtener mayores ganancias.
