Juvenal Nshimiyimana

Juvenal Nshimiyimana is 34 years old and single. He lives in Nyamagabe, which is approximately a 3-hour drive from Kigali, the capital of Rwanda. Juvenal has a successful, small, local grocery store where he sells a variety of goods to a loyal customer base. This is his 3rd year in the grocery business and he employs one person as a helper. His store requires that he work from 6 AM to 7 PM every day. Juvenal enjoys his life as a self-employed man with a successful business.

Juvenal is requesting his first loan from Kiva lenders via Vision Finance Company. He wants to expand his grocery business by purchasing some additional inventory, such as jam, sodas, juices, and delicious breads. With the sale of additional goods and his improved capital situation, Juvenal will strengthen his business and begin to build a more secure future for himself and his (eventual...hopeful!) family.
