Francis Njenga is 43 years old and the husband of Elizabeth Kabura. They are blessed with four children. Francis works as a tailor in Shanzu, Mombasa and has been in the business for 9 years. He rents his workroom on a monthly basis. Most of his clients are residents of the area where his shop is located.
Francis heard about KADET through an existing client and he is now requesting his first loan, in the amount of 10,000 Kenyan shillings (KES). He will use the loan to purchase materials like thread and fabric for his tailoring business. In the future Francis hopes to establish his own shop instead of using the rented space.
