Jorge Santamaría Bances

Jorge is a 44-year old father who lives with his wife, his 4 children - ages 12, 10, 7, and 3 - and his mother and nephew. They live in the Cruz del Médano sector, belonging to the district of Mórrope, located an hour north of the city of Chiclayo.

He works in agriculture and the sale of small animals. He began working as a farmer but the continuous problems of water scarcity for crop irrigation in the area caused him to little by little leave farming and dedicate more time to raising and selling animals.

Jorge buys animals to raise them and sell them to businessmen that frequent the area. He usually raises pigs, turkeys, duck, and guinea pigs. The continuous necessity of his family is the increased demand that his customers have. For this reason he plans to grow his business and this is why he is asking Edpyme Alternativa for the first time for a loan of 1000 nuevos soles to invest in purchasing more animals.

He tells us that his greatest longing is to be able to build his house of noble materials (brick and cement) and provide his children with the opportunity to for advanced studies. He is a responsible father who always gives his best in his work in order to take care of himself and his own.

Jorge es un padre de familia de 44 años de edad que vive junto a su esposa; sus cuatro hijos de 12, 10, 7 y 3 años de edad; su madre y su sobrino en el sector Cruz del Médano, perteneciente al distrito de Mórrope, ubicado una hora al norte de la ciudad de Chiclayo.

El se dedica a la agricultura y a la venta de animales menores. Empezó trabajando como agricultor pero los continuos problemas de escasez de agua para la irrigación de los sembríos en la zona hizo que poco a poco dejara de sembrar y que le dedicara más tiempo a la crianza y venta de animales.

Jorge compra animales para luego criarlos y venderlos a los negociantes que frecuentan la zona. Usualmente cría cerdos, pavos, patos y cuyes. Las continua necesidad por la que atraviesa su familia y el incremento de la demanda por parte de sus compradores han hecho que planee ampliar su negocio por lo que se encuentra solicitando por primera vez a Edpyme Alternativa un crédito de 1000 nuevos soles para invertirlos en la compa de más animales.

El nos cuenta que su mayor anhelo es poder construir su casa de material noble (de ladrillos y cemento) y brindarle a sus hijos la oportunidad de estudiar alguna carrera superior. El es un padre responsable que siempre trabaja dando lo mejor de si para sacar adelante a los suyos.
