Jorge, 24, is a very hard-working young man. He lives in the house that his parents left him. He is prepared to work very hard to succeed in life.

Jorge’s day starts at six in the morning when he opens his clothing stand and gets ready to start selling his merchandise. He has a stand in the Tupac Amaru Market (a very important market in the city of Juliaca). He tends his stand all day, and he closes at nine at night. He knows that the next day another day’s work awaits him. What he likes most about his business is talking with his customers and convincing them to buy something. He has been doing this for five years. The most difficult part is having to stay all day in the same place.

In the future he hopes to have a larger store where he can sell a larger variety of clothing.

This is Jorge’s first loan with MFP. He expects to make all of his payments without fail. He does not want to cause problems for the members of his communal bank, where he is much loved. He will use the 1,000 PEN that he has asked for to buy more clothes to better set up his sales location.
