Minnie Waruiru is a 34 year old single mother. She has three daughters named Mary, Penninah (13 years) and Esther (two years old). She has been operating a general retail shop for the past four years. Minnie was introduced to KADET by a credit officer who was doing marketing outreach. She has previously accessed two loans which she repaid on time. She is now applying for her third loan which she is planning to use to add stock, such as foodstuffs and other goods, in her shop in time for the festive Christmas season. Minnie plans to build her own house on her own farm with the extra profit generated from the business. Her hopes and dreams are to open a supermarket. Minnie describes herself as a hardworking lady and a humble people person.
