Susan Peter

Susan is 52 years old and married with four children, two of whom are still in school. She operates Wajudys Wedding Gifts shop, selling utensils like sufurias (pots) and kettles, and beauty products like earrings, necklaces and flowers in wholesale. Her shop is located in Githiga Shopping Centre in Kiambu and she says it is unique because there are no other shops there like it. She has run her shop for six years and also earns extra income as a dairy farmer.

Susan is requesting a loan of Kes 40,000 to add stock, especially jewelry, because December is wedding season in Kenya.

Susan describes herself as a very hardworking lady who is focussed and works with a lot of seriousness. In the future, she hopes to expand both her businesses by partnering with Faulu, which she says she knows is a daraja (bridge) to making her dream come true.
