Yvonne Uwamahoro is 30 years old and married with three children aged 4 through 10. She and her family live in Rubavu District in Gisenyi Province, about 3 hours drive from Kigali, the capital city of Rwanda.

Yvonne really knows her business very well - she has thirteen years of experience in the banana industry. She employs several people from her community and is known for quality products and good service. Her business yields a monthly profit of 50,000 RWF (approximately US$90) and she hopes this loan will help her to increase this amount.

Yvonne is requesting this loan from Vision Finance Company to provide needed working capital, to purchase inventory and to manage the cash flow of her seasonal business. She has had two previous loans from Vision Finance Company which she repaid on time and in full. Yvonne thanks VFC and Kiva for supporting her enterprise.
