Rosario Nieva

Rosario Nieva is 46 years old, and her partner now is Eugenio Garcia, 58 years old, with whom she has found true happiness. They were blessed with one child, Mark Lester, 12 years old. From her former unsuccessful marriage, she has two children, Rose Anne, 20 years old, and Rogelyn, 16 years old, for whom she is still responsible.

One source of their income comes from the salary of Eugenio, working as a foreman carpenter. The three children are currently studying so creating more expenses, especially her two older children who are in college. Rosario helps Eugenio in providing for their family through the income from buying and selling various frozen foods. Sometimes she sells some beauty products, and also offers her customers pedicures or manicures, treatment for their hair, a spa for their feet, and facial treatments.

Her 7th loan from Kiva field partner Ahon sa Hirap Inc. (ASHI) is will be used in buying what is needed for these businesses: frozen foods and beauty products and for her other business, nail polish, things used in treating hair, face, and feet. She is sure after buying all this, she will get a big boost in income because these are all the things that help her in improving her businesses.

The education of her children is her priority in life, so she will do everything to make her businesses grow. One dream of hers is to have a beauty salon where they live so she can always afford the educational expenses of her children.
