Justa

Justa is 55 years old and is a mother who throughout her life has worked hard to get ahead. She lives in her house with her two children: 23 year old Reyna and 18 year old Cesar. What she wants the most is to have a better quality of life.

With her cart, she goes out everyday to sell fruit in Las Mercedes Market (an important market in the city of Juliaca). She buys the fruit from the cars that arrive from Puerto Maldonado and has a very good eye for picking them. She has many customers, as she is a very charismatic and cheerful salesperson.

What she likes the most about her work is talking with her neighbors in the market. She has been in this business for 32 years and she considers the most the most difficult thing to be to have to stay all day beneath the suffocating sun, which makes her tire quickly.

For the future, she hopes to gather the necessary money to buy a place inside the market, so she can sell her fruit with more tranquility.

This is Justa’s sixth loan with MFP. She is prepared to make her payments punctually, although for that she’ll have to save the earnings from her sales little by little. She is a very responsible member of her community bank. With the $525 (1500 PEN) requested, she will buy more fruit so that she can increase the quantity of merchandise that she sells.

Justa, de 55 años, es una madre que a lo largo de su vida siempre trabajo mucho por salir adelante. Vive en su casa propia junto a sus 2 hijos: Reyna de 23 y Cesar de 18 y lo que más desea es tener una mejor calidad de vida.

Junto a su triciclo sale todos los días a vender frutas al mercado Las Mercedes (mercado importante de la ciudad de Juliaca), las frutas las compra de los carros que llegan de la ciudad de Puerto Maldonado y tiene muy buen ojo para escogerlas. Ella tiene muchos clientes, ya que es una vendedora muy carismática y alegre.
Lo que más le gusta de su trabajo es conversar con sus vecinas de venta, lleva 32 años en este negocio y considera que lo más difícil es tener que permanecer todo el día bajo el sofocante sol, lo cual hace que se canse más rápido.
Para el futuro, espera juntar el dinero necesario para comprar un puesto dentro del mercado, para vender sus frutas con mayor tranquilidad.

Este es el sexto préstamo de Justa con MFP, está dispuesta a pagar sus cuotas puntualmente, aunque para eso tenga que ahorrar poco a poco las ganancias de sus ventas. En su banco comunal es una socia muy responsable. Con los mil quinientos soles solicitados comprará más frutas para poder incrementar la cantidad de mercadería que vende.
