Teresa

Teresa, age 45, is a fighter. She lives in her own house and is ready to work very hard for the sake of getting ahead in life.

Teresa has her grocery shop in the Clorinda Mattos de Turner housing development in the city of Juliaca. She is very happy with her business since it is very profitable. She opens her food shop at 5:30 in the morning, ready to sell the products that she has in stock. She carries out this activity until 10:00 at night, which is the hour when she closes.

What she likes most about her work is selling. She is a very good saleswoman since her customers always leave her shop very satisfied. She has been in this business for 10 years and considers the most difficult part having to stay all day in the store without leaving to accomplish other things.

For the future, she hopes to improve her shop and make it grow in order to be able to better serve her customers. This is Teresa’s first loan with MFP. She hopes to be punctual with her payments since she doesn’t want to let down the rest of the members of her communal bank, where she is very well-liked and respected. With the 1000 soles applied for she will buy more products in order to improve her grocery store.

Teresa, de 45 años, es una mujer luchadora, vive en su casa propia y está dispuesta a trabajar muy duro con tal de sobre salir en la vida.

En la urbanización Clorinda Mattos de Turner de la ciudad de Juliaca, Teresa tiene su tienda de abarrotes, ella se siente muy feliz con su negocio, ya que le es muy rentable. Desde las 5 y 30 de la mañana abre su tienda de comestibles y se dispone a vender los productos que tiene en stock, esta actividad la realiza hasta las 10 de la noche que es la hora cuando cierra su tienda.
Lo que más le gusta de su trabajo es vender, es muy buena vendedora, ya que siempre sus clientes salen muy contentos de su tienda. Lleva 10 años realizando esta actividad y considera que lo más difícil es tener que permanecer todo el día dentro de su bodega, sin poder salir a la calle a realizar otras actividades.
Para más adelante, espera mejorar su tienda y hacerla crecer, para así poder atender mejor a sus clientes.
