David Onyango is 27 years old. He operates a general retail shop in Manyatta, a low-cost settlement area in the outskirts of Kisumu city. He has been in this business for the last three years.
This is David's third loan from KADET Ltd., a Kiva partner. He will use these funds to purchase more stock for his shop and to diversify into a number of items that he has not stocked before, like dairy products.
He aspires to purchase a plot of land and develop it, with an ultimate aim to move the business there.
