Jhon Carlos Bravo Cevallos is 22 years old and lives in the Paraiso district of Guayaquil. Paraiso is a peri-urban, marginalized zone (between the suburbs and the countryside) without paved roads, water pipes, or a sewer system. Although Jhon is young, he has taken on very mature responsibilities. He has purchased a simple home for himself and his two younger brothers. The three brothers left their parents in the countryside in search of better opportunities. Living in the city has allowed Jhon to develop an in-home "butcher shop", where he sells chickens. With a better school system in the city, Jhon decided to raise and support his brothers, who are in 6th and 9th grade.
Jhon is requesting a loan to buy chickens. With this loan he will be able to buy a larger quantity, at a discounted rate. In the future, he would like to buy sheet metal to secure the roof of his home. He is grateful for any support we can provide his business so that his family may prosper!
