Nancy Amoro is 23 years-old and is married to Tom Marera. They are proud parents to Winnie and Daniel. The family lives in the coastal town of Shanzu. For the last four years, Nancy has been in the business of poultry keeping. As a supplement to her income she also sells vegetables and cereals. Nancy is accessing her first loan from Kiva partner KADET and with it she plans to purchase chicks for rearing and cereals and vegetables to sell. When her chicks mature, she will sell them to hotels (cafes) in the beach town of Shanzu. One day, Nancy plans to diversify her businesses further by purchasing a plot of land and putting up rental houses.
