In October 22, 2009 Fe Erma Aragones received her loan through Kiva field partner Ahon sa Hirap Inc. (ASHI) amounting to Php 45,000 less the 5% that goes to Salamat Fund. Salamat is a tagalog word that means Thank You. This fund is owned by every member of the group and they can use it in emergency needs.

Fe Erma properly used the loan that she received. She used this in buying what are the needs of their fishing business like 4 bundle of different fishnets worth Php 40,000 and 40 pieces of bamboo worth Php 2,000, a total of Php 42,000. She will use all of these in expanding the fish pond. And the remaining amount is in the hand of Fe Erma, she will keep it and in times their business need it she will use it. She was sure that it will really help their business and the same time their family in changing their way of living.

She is very thankful to ASHI for the many support they have given to her since she became a member and of course to her Kiva Lenders that giving her the chance to improve their lives. She is assuring them that they’ll work hard not to disappoint them.
