Mira, a 53 year old widow is the leader of this group. She keeps cows and sells milk. She has 30 years of experience in animal husbandry. Even though her husband passed away, she has been able to provide for her family. When she started raising cattle, she invested around $115. Now, she makes half of her investment back in a month, just by selling milk. Mira decided to apply for this loan to buy two sheep. She is going to feed them and resell them in the cattle market. Mira wants to build a big farm in a village.

Mira’s partners are:

Burulush, 54, has four children. She is a widow. To make a living she keeps cows and sells milk. She needs a loan to prepare a dowry for her daughter.

Kalbubu, 49, has three children. Her husband works at a gas station. She stays at home and looks after cattle. Kalbubu needs a loan to purchase calves for breeding.

Kulira, 53, has two children. She keeps three calves and wants to increase their population. She looks after cattle herself, while her husband does other jobs. She needs a loan to purchase more calves.
