Ana María Barboza

She gets up early every day for housework and then goes to her beauty salon that is located a few blocks from her home.

Since childhood Ana wanted to learn how to run a beauty salon and was always attracted to selling clothes and shoes. When her husband was younger, he was a champion on the football and soccer field, and he wanted to be a soccer player and coach. However, being a soccer coach couldn’t support his family entirely, so Ana decided to get a career in hairdressing and selling shoes.

She started with a small living room in their house, and then, in order to provide greater comfort to her clients, she began to buy more furniture, hairdryers, irons, mirrors, etc. Then her husband sold shoes and they were very successful.

When they wanted to make the business larger he went to Buenos Aires to bring seasonal clothing back to sell. Their sales continued with great success, and so the couple moved forward with good fortune, and all 3 of their children finished their studies. The first is a Customs Agent who has been married for 3 years. The second son is a student of business administration, and the third is a professional makeup artist who also helps at home and works at the Beauty Salon to meet clients.

Ana washes hair and gives haircuts, massages, facials, and waxing, and gives advice on trendy shoes. With the loan they want to buy more shampoo, creams, and other materials for the salon, and clothes to sell.
