Mr. Kouassi HOUESSOU was born in Lomé on August 16, 1952. He is married and father of four (04) children but has five (05) dependents. Accountant by trade but unemployed, he started his private business by selling fresh water and ice blocks. Currently, he has at his disposal two centres of water processing at Attikpodji not far from the big market and the second at Kégué, a suburb of Lomé.

In Togo, ice blocks are in very high demand especially during the dry seasons due to the warmth. Owing to that activity, Mr. HOUESSOU has at his disposal a substantial income which allows him today to nourish his family.

The credit of $500 which he is requesting currently should serve to buy one freezer and two coolers and to set up another retail location for the coming dry season when the demand is greatest.

HOUESSOU Kouassi est né à Lomé le 16 août 1952. Il est marié et père de quatre enfants mais prend en charge cinq autres personnes. Comptable de formation sans emploi, il s’est vite lancé dans l’initiative privée par la vente d’eau et de moule de glace. Il dispose actuellement de deux centres de transformation à Attikpodji non loin du grand marché et le second à Kégué, banlieue de Lomé.

Au Togo, les moules de glace sont très recherchées surtout pendant les saisons sèches à cause de la chaleur. Grâce à cette activité, M. HOUESSOU dispose d’un revenu substantiel qui lui permet aujourd’hui de nourrir sa famille.

Le crédit de $ 500 qu’il sollicite aujourd’hui devra servir à acheter un réfrigérateur, et deux glacières pour agrandir ses activités et à installer un autre centre à l’approche de cette saison sèche qui s’annonce où la demande est plus forte.
