Dorothy

Dorothy is a 35 year-old widow who lives alone. She sells food items such as beans, maize and groundnut. She has been in this business for four years and makes her living from the business profits. She buys her goods from Techiman in the Brong Ahafo region of Ghana and sells at the market square. She would like a loan to increase her working capital so that her dream of buying goods in bulk can be achieved. In this way, she can supply a larger number of customers increasing her market size and therefore her profit margin.
