Rali Soumanou

SOUMANOU Rali was born on August 11, 1958 in Cameroun in Africa. Rali has been living since childhood in the Agbokou district in Porto-Novo, administrative capital of Bénin. Rali is a widow and the mother of two children, one of whom is still under her care. Rali lives alone with her children and she is the only breadwinner for the little family.

Rali never went to school. To support her children, Rali has been selling kolas (local products), stove wicks, bottles and 'adindon', used locally to make stews, for some 10 years in the market of Ouando in Porto-Novo. Rali does her buying in Adjarra, a village situated not far from Porto-Novo.

She has been a client of ALIDé for a long time and has already received two loans that she has repaid correctly. Rali is requesting a third loan from ALIDé to grow her little business and her clientele so that she can better cater for the needs of her children.

SOUMANOU Rali est née le 11 Août 1958 au Cameroun en Afrique. Rali vit depuis son jeune âge au quartier Agbokou à Porto-Novo, capitale administrative du Bénin. Rali est une veuve et mère de deux enfants tous scolarisés, dont un est à sa charge. Rali vit seule avec ses enfants, et les charges de la famille sont supportées par elle seule. Rali n’a jamais été à l’école. Pour subvenir aux besoins quotidiens de ses enfants, Rali vend depuis une dizaine d’année, des colas (produits locaux), des mèches de réchaud, des bouteilles et de « Adindon », servant à faire de sauce locale au marché Ouando à Porto-Novo. Rali s’approvisionne à Adjarra, village situé non loin de Porto-Novo. C’est une ancienne cliente de ALIDé ayant déjà bénéficié de deux crédits qui ont été bien remboursés. Rali sollicite un troisième crédit de ALIDé pour augmenter la taille de son activité et de sa clientèle afin de mieux satisfaire les besoins de ses enfants.
