Victorine Houngbedji

HOUNGBEDJI Victorine was born in 1979 in Djèrègbé, a village found at the entrance of Porto-Novo, the administrative capital of the Republic of Benin.
She is married to SOVI Mètohoué, a fisherman. The couple has four children who are all in school, and has been residing in Gbokpa in Djèrègbé for ten years already. Family expenses are covered jointly by the couple.

Victorine has never attended school. For almost eight years, she has been selling sauce condiments (tomatoes, onions, chili peppers, palm oil, et.) and second-hand clothing at her home. She makes her purchases at the Ouando market in Porto-Novo and in Cotonou, the economic capital of Benin.

She is a former ALIDé client, having benefited from two loans, which have been repaid. To expand her business and to save more money, she’s requesting a third loan from ALIDé.

Le couple a quatre enfants, tous scolarisés, et réside à Gbokpa à Djèrègbé il y a dix ans déjà. Les charges de la famille sont supportées par les deux conjoints. Victorine n'a jamais été à l'école. Depuis près de huit ans, Victorine vend des condiments de sauce (tomate, oignons, piments, huile de palme, etc.) et des friperies à son domicile. Victorine fait ses emplettes au marché Ouando à Porto-Novo et à Cotonou, capitale économique du Bénin. C'est une ancienne cliente de ALIDé ayant bénéficié de deux crédits qui ont été bien remboursés. Pour accroître la taille de son activité et réaliser plus d'économie, Victorine sollicite un troisième crédit auprès de ALIDé.
