The weather has been quite dry in Costa Rica this year though he is confident his crop will not suffer. He recently bought an empty lot in San Salvador, a village near San Agustin, and he would like to build a house there. His house now is not satisfactory for his 3 children and his wife, and this loan provides him the opportunity to better his family's situation. He has had one loan with FUDECOSUR in the past which he used for his coffee fields. He also had a loan with Banco Complianza but prefers FUDECOSUR's loans as they have a more manageable interest rate.
