Grace

Grace is 58 years old. She is widowed and the mother of six children. Two of her children are in school. She always works hard to meet her target. By doing that, she has acquired lots of marketing and selling experience. She is a food vendor and prepares ‘Akyeke’ in front of her house. Akyeke is a local food with its origin from Cote’ de l‘voire in the west Africa region. Grace is the first to start Akyeke preparation in her community, which has seen high patronage. It is prepared from cassava and goes through many processes. With her 25 years of experience, she requests a loan to buy stock such as tomatoes, onions, pepper, cassava etc. She takes delivery of goods from the surrounding villages to prepare her food.
