Akouavi Solange Cocossou

COCOSSOU Akouavi Solange was born around 1971 in Pobè, in Plateau County. She is married to TOULASSI Clément, a chauffeur. She and Clément still do not have any children, but they support a child who is in school. The family lives in Womey, a district in the community of Abomey-Calavi, not far from Cotonou, the economic capital of the Republic of Benin. Solange’s husband is the one who ensures that family expenses are covered. This allows Solange to invest the revenues from her business to develop it further.

Basically, she sells staple foods (yam tubers, corn, millet, sorghum, beans, etc.) through the distribution system. Glazoué, one of the international markets of Benin for staple goods, is where she stocks up on these different goods.

Solange wants to bolster her working capital to be able to respond better to the demands of her growing customer base. And so, she’s requesting her first ALIDé loan to attain her goals.

COCOSSOU Akouavi Solange est née vers 1971 à Pobè, dans le Département du Plateau. Solange est mariée à TOULASSI Clément,un chauffeur. Solange et Clément n'ont encore pas d'enfant mais ils ont en charge un enfant qui est scolarisé. La famille vit à Womey, un quartier de la Commune d'Abomey-Calavi non loin de Cotonou, Capitale économique du Bénin. C'est le mari de Solange qui assure les charges de la famille. Ce qui permet à Solange d'investir les revenus de son activité dans celle-ci pour mieux la développer. En effet, Solange vend par le système de distribution, des produits vivriers (tubercules d'igname, maïs, mil, sorgho, haricot, etc.). C'est à Glazoué, un des marchés internationaux de produits vivriers du Bénin que Solange s'approvisionne en ces différents produits. Solange veut renforcer son fonds de roulement pour pouvoir répondre efficacement à la demande de sa clientèle de plus en plus croissante. Alors, Solange sollicite son premier crédit de ALIDé pour atteindre son objectif.
